IPS e.max^® CAD Esthetic Crowns

IPS e.max material is a tough lithium disilicate glass-ceramic that is ideal for making esthetic crowns.  We offer crowns in posterior and anterior materials, in various A through D and bleach shades.  The translucency of IPS e.max materials exhibit what is known as the “chameleon effect”, reflecting the shade of the surrounding dentition.

Lava™ Crowns

Lava restorations are made with Lava zirconia and are designed and milled with 3M's Lava CAD/CAM system. The combination of materials and precision milling produces a strong restoration with an excellent marginal fit.

Porcelain-Fused-to-Zirconia (PFZ) Crowns

Udell Dental Lab designs the milled zirconia copings, and layers with porcelain to mimic the beauty of natural teeth. Zirconia is a strong, metal-free option with a superior milled marginal fit for what might otherwise be a standard PFM case.

Metal-free zirconia is high-strength (900 MPa) restoration.
